Meet Coach Rodriguez
I would like to welcome you and your child to Physical Education at Franklin Academy, Cooper City for the 2019-2020 school year. I would also like to assure you that your child’s academic success as well as physical and social development is my number one priority this school year.
A little bit about myself; I am an FIU (Florida International University) alumni with my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (K-12), graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. I have worked in the corporate gym/sports club industry in both administrative positions as well as a certified Personal Trainer (NFPT). I have also worked soccer camps for children ages 4-7 and I am a former high school varsity athlete (Swimming, Soccer, and Track & Field) and former varsity team captain for both Soccer and Track & Field. I am extremely passionate about health and fitness in all aspects; physical, mental, and emotional, as well as the role it plays in our everyday lives. It is my personal goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a motivating, compassionate, dynamic, enthusiastic teacher/coach who will make a positive contribution to your child’s education.
My expectations for your child in my class:
-
Be on time and prepared
-
Always practice safety
-
Respect; others, materials, and equipment

-
